Who should eat Fuji apples?

Jul 16, 2025

Fuji apples are the king of fruits! They're suitable for most people, so let's take a closer look.

Suitable for: Those who pursue a healthy diet: Fuji apples are rich in dietary fiber, with approximately 2.4 grams per 100 grams of pulp. This fiber promotes bowel movements and helps prevent constipation, making them particularly suitable for sedentary workers with a refined diet. Furthermore, with a glycemic index (GI) of only 36, they are considered a low-GI fruit. Diabetics with stable blood sugar levels can easily eat 100-150 grams (about half an apple) daily.

Fitness enthusiasts and those who control their calorie intake: A medium-sized Fuji apple (approximately 200 grams) has only 104 kcal and is rich in vitamin C (4.6 mg per 100 grams) and potassium (107 mg per 100 grams). Eating one after exercise provides a boost of energy without overindulging in calories. Beauty-conscious ladies: The polyphenols in apples have antioxidant properties that can help slow down skin aging. Paired with yogurt or nuts in a salad, they make a delicious "beauty meal."

For elderly and children with sensitive teeth: Fuji apples have a relatively soft flesh, making them easy to chew, and are moderately sweet (soluble solids content is 14%-16%), so they won't irritate teeth.
