Which Markets Are Suitable for Chinese Kiwifruit Export?
Kiwifruit originates from China. China is the world's largest kiwifruit producer. We have three main commercial types: green heart, golden heart and red heart kiwifruit. Chinese kiwifruit is most suitable for Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Russia and the Middle East at present.
1. Southeast Asia (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam)
Benefiting from RCEP, tariff costs are lower. Short shipping time helps preserve freshness. Green and golden heart kiwifruit sell well here.
2. Central Asia & Russia (Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan)
These are mature core markets. Consumers accept Chinese kiwifruit well. Land transport and cold chain are convenient, suitable for large-volume shipments.
3. Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia)
High demand for premium fresh fruits. Red heart and golden heart kiwifruit are popular in high-end supermarkets.
