Under open-field cultivation in Zhengzhou, the grapes typically mature in late August. In Jiaozuo, under rain-sheltered cultivation, they can be marketed earlier, around the Spring Festival and New Year holidays. Under natural storage conditions, they can last up to four months (until the Spring Festival), with a marketable fruit yield exceeding 85%. They exhibit strong disease resistance overall, but are susceptible to white rot, with a fruit cracking rate of up to 30% in sandy soils.
