Growth
An 8-year-old tree is 2.5 meters tall, with a trunk circumference of 34 cm and a crown diameter of 3.4 meters x 3.1 meters. It produces three shoots annually, resulting in significant growth. It enters fruiting early, beginning fruiting in the third year after planting. The yield per plant is approximately 2.0 kg, and 8-9-year-old trees yield 40-60 kg. In a 6-year-old densely planted experimental garden at the Ganzhou Citrus Research Institute, using Wenzhou mandarin oranges as interstocks, the average yield per plant was 19.94 kg in November 1990, for a total yield of 3,323.3 kg per mu. Flowering period observations at the Ganzhou Citrus Research Institute in 1990 showed initial flowering from April 2-6, peak flowering from April 7-12, and final flowering on April 19. Fruit matures in mid-to-late November.
